Volunteer Incentives

You, the consignor, are our best form of advertising! Because of this, we are asking you to help distribute flyers promoting the sale. You can find these at Printable Flyers. Make sure to write your initials and consignor number in the box at the bottom of each flyer before you distribute them to friends, family members, pre-schools, daycare centers, or churches. For every customer who brings a flyer with your name on it through check-out, your name will be entered into a drawing. The winner will receive 85% of their total sales!! Remember...the customer MUST give us your flyer at check-out!

Also for the Holiday sale, we are encouraging everyone to volunteer some of your time.   We need help before, during, and after the sale, and really depend on our consignors.  If you are not able to volunteer, your husband is always welcome!! 

If you are unable to volunteer your time, we offer several opportunities to volunteer your services.  These services will earn 1, 2, or 3 points.  There is a maximum number of 2 service spots available for each consignor. 

With your accumulated points, you can earn volunteer pre-sale passes, a percentage increase of your total sales, and discounts on your consignor fee! Here's how it works!

Points/Incentives:

• 2 pts. = 70% of your sales, 1 volunteer pre-sale pass
• 3 pts. = 71% of your sales, 1 volunteer pre-sale pass
• 4 pts. = 72% of your sales, 1 volunteer pre-sale pass
• 5 pts. = 73% or your sales, 1 volunteer pre-sale pass
• 6 pts. = 74% of your sales, 2 volunteer pre-sale passes
• 7 pts. = 75% of your sales, 2 volunteer pre-sale passes
• 8 pts. = 76% of your sales, 25% off your consignor fee, 2 volunteer pre-sale passes
• 9 pts. = 77% of your sales, 25% off your consignor fee, 2 volunteer pre-sale passes
• 10 pts. = 78 % of your sales, 50% off your consignor fee, 2 volunteer pre-sale passes
• 11 pts. = 79% of your sales, 50% off your consignor fee, 2 volunteer pre-sale passes
• 12+ pts. = 80% of your sales, 75% off your consignor fee, 2 volunteer pre-sale passes

Volunteer Your Time!!

For every hour of volunteering time you complete, you will receive 1 point. (There will be 2 hour, 3 hour, and 4 hour shifts.) Sign up for volunteering at our Volunteer Registration page. Also, for every hour you complete, your name will be placed in a drawing to earn 85% of your total sales!!

Volunteer Your Services!!

Remember, there is a maximum number of 2 service spots available for each consignor.

• Donate one 24-pack of bottled water, preferably chilled
• Donate 1 medium bag of peanut M&M's
• Donate 1 box/bag of snacks (granola bars, crackers, etc.)
  

2 points

• Donate fruit to serve 6-8 people
• Donate veggies and dip to serve 6-8 people
• Donate breakfast items to serve 6-8 people (muffins, bagels, etc.)

3 points

• Heat up a meal donated by Dream Dinners, bring it to the Maize Recreation Commission along with one side item to serve 8-10 people (bread, fruit, veggies and dip, etc.). We will schedule a drop-off time with you.
  
• Help MBC make connections with local publicity such as TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, etc.
• Put up 10 signs in prominent locations one week prior to the sale and return them at pick-up.
• Send an approved email or flyer promoting the sale to everyone in your moms' group or organization. It would also be great if we could come give a short presentation at one of your meetings!
